The plantas (cottages) are now under construction and expected to open in the coming weeks.
The first two plants will be on the third floor of the main building, which will be built on the second floor.
The dormitaries are intended to be affordable for students and are expected to cost around RM3,200 per month for two people per room.
There are also plans to construct a rooftop garden area, a rooftop swimming pool, a gymnasium, and a dining area.
The buildings will also have a cafe, laundry, gymnasial and gymnasitory facilities.
The new dormitries will house the CIB, the National Institute of Nursing and Allied Health Sciences, and the Institute of Technology and Engineering.
The CIB will have facilities for nursing students, while the institute will offer courses in engineering and business.
